Any chance you have to break the cycle trudging through your daily experiences, as any job can make you feel at times, is precious.
My wife and I enjoyed Sunday afternoon in the park on a breezy summer day. We were reminded that last year at this time we spent a week on a beach vacation. Remembering the smell of the ocean and the cool ocean air was seriously sigh enducing.
But in the moment the shade, cooling down from our couples dash through the kiddie sprinkler, and lying my head on her lap as the slight summer breeze cooled our damp clothes, I said, "This is our vacation."
And it was. It is.
Bring your own bliss you could say.
You are in control of where you find happiness.
Those moments can last a lifetime if you let them. Finding time to open yourself up to the wonderful experience that it is to raise a family is powerful. It's humbling and grounding, and highlighted throughout are those moments of pure joy. Revel in those. They are like throwing gasoline on your fire.
Burn brightly lads.
